In this post we will share all the information related to Roblox Dead Rails Structures and their locations. There are so many buildings in the but we have only mentioned the most important ones. Also read: Dead Rails Train Guide and Dead Rails Trello

Houses

Roblox Dead Rails Structures Guide

The houses located in forts have nothing of use in them, aside from a table with a lantern you can’t pick up.

Houses that spawn along the tracks, however, can spawn with various types of loot, ranging from vases to gold bars. It may be worthwhile to stop by them, especially in the early game, as they can contain some good fuel, or rarely, valuables. 2-5 of these random items are what you can expect from each house.

Dont let your guard down though- these houses are usually inhabited with 1-2 zombies. They arent usually a problem though, as you can just whack at their hands through the walls.

Trading Post

Trading Post

The trading post is one of the most important structures in the game. They can mainly and most reliably be found within forts, though one of their variants can be found along the tracks, which we’ll get into later.

It’s use is simple- just drop any sellable item, (see Sellable Items Chart), onto either of the pads on the tables inside the post. The item will then be converted into a money bag, its value and size being based off of the item sold. Simply hold “E” to collect the money. One general rule of thumb- items with the “valuable” tag are usually worth more, while items without this tag can be sold for a maximim of 5 dollars.

About that variant mentioned earlier- occasionally, trading posts can spawn along the tracks. They will have a table where you can sell items, just like the normal trading post, but will also include 2 other tables, on which it will sell 2 items. These items are randomly chosen and directly taken from the General Store, Doctor, and Gunsmith’s sold items. These items are chosen based off of the tables that appear in these shops. For example, if a rifle is chosen to appear, it will appear alongside rifle ammo, much like how it appears in the General Store. Other than the items it sells, it behaves exactly like a normal trading post. This variant can prove quite useful if you are running low on fuel or ammunition, but is very unreliable.

General Store

General Store

The general store is also one of the most important structures in the game- spawning exclusively in forts. When generated, it randomly chooses 4 items to sell from a pool of 7 items: coal, metal plating, barbed wire, torches, dynamite, lanterns, and saddles. The items it sells are refreshed once every fort, though it can still sell items identical to the previous general store, thus you are not guarenteed new items. The general store is the most reliable way to get materials to improve your train, as well as defend from bandits and/or zombies. It is also the best way to aquire large amounts of coal.

Doctor

The doctor structure is another building that exclusively spawns in forts. It only sells one item- the bandage. It doesn’t seem like much, but as the doctor is the only reliable way to get your hands on bandages, it plays a crucial role in the survivability of your team. On top of this, they’re only sold for a measely 10 dollars apice!

Gunsmith

Another fort-exclusive structure, the gunsmith, is arguably the most useful building in the game. It sells 4 items, (no rng involved): the revolver, shotgun, rifle, and the Maxim Machine Gun (aka: turret), along with their respective ammunitions. These 4 items, (with maybe the exception of the shotgun) all are some of the most useful items in the game. The gunsmith is by far the most reliable way to get your hands on these weapons, along with large amounts of their respective ammunitions- assuming you’ve got the funds, of course. Its only notable downside is the costs of these munitions- though, rob one bank and you should be set for a great while.

Sheriff

The sheriff is the last fort exclusive structure on this list. Its only purpose is to turn in those pesky bandits you find on your way to mexico. It functions the exact same as the Trading Post, only difference being: it only accepts bandit corpses. These corpses are worth 35 dollars a pop, which means one group of bandits can award a large sum of money. Make sure to hold onto those corpses!
